Photoshop Image Manipulation

This photo started out as the window/building, but there were ugly buildings out the window, so I cut out all the "glass" and inserted a photo of the Portland skyline behind it. I then cut out and added the photo of the flower in the vase, and finally, I cut out and added the hipster with the bike.

Explore Illustrative Typography
In this tutorial, you use both Illustrator and Photoshop. You begin by drawing a sketch by hand and scanning it into Illustrator. You then start adding and manipulating circles in Illustrator, connecting them and smoothing the curves to match the sketch. You then add a gradient layer to outline the shadows. You add colors, then highlights. The drip off the beak comes from connecting circles like the swan. Then, you create a new document in Photoshop and paste each Illustrator group in its own layer. You then work with gradients and add a shadow.
