Computer Arts Post

Explore Illustrative Typography
In this tutorial, you use both Illustrator and Photoshop. You begin by drawing a sketch by hand and scanning it into Illustrator. You then start adding and manipulating circles in Illustrator, connecting them and smoothing the curves to match the sketch. You then add a gradient layer to outline the shadows. You add colors, then highlights. The drip off the beak comes from connecting circles like the swan. Then, you create a new document in Photoshop and paste each Illustrator group in its own layer. You then work with gradients and add a shadow.
